Independence Park Advisory Council (IPAC) is a nonprofit organization with the goal of supporting Chicago's Independence Park and its programs.  

In the past few years we have spear-headed fundraising for the new playground, hosted numerous community events including the Circus, Movies in the Park, Concerts in the Park and a Beer Fest.  We have also purchased many items for the Park - from stereos to air conditioners to lunch for the park's summer campers.

IPAC's goal is to support the park staff, facilities and program in any way required. We welcome suggestions, support, and involvement from all community members. 

 

IPAC meetings take place at 7pm on the second Wednesday of each month in the main park building.

All community members are invited to attend.
